First Steps

Miriam took her first steps last night! I was taking pictures of her in the romper I made her. She was standing by the coffee table when she decided that she just had to have the camera. Bam - she walked over to me! It was maybe four steps. She repeated her feat a few more times last night. This morning she was all about the walking again. She walked outside, uphill; across the living room; and in the kitchen with a cooling rack in her hands. I'm really surprised she walked this soon. She was doing a good job with standing, but she didn't seem too interested in moving her feet. Then yesterday afternoon she started kind of sliding one foot, and that progressed to kind of lifting and moving one foot, but she wasn't going anywhere. Then last night she was full on walking. Wow. She amazes me.
